List of risk capital providers now published

The federal and state governments jointly support start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises that have fallen into economic difficulties as a result of the Corona crisis.

The Land of Berlin has chosen a different approach than most of the Länder when “paying out” the aid. Companies and start-ups cannot apply for financial support directly, but must do so through venture capital firms / business angels.

A startup can thus receive funds of up to €800,000 via three different funding options. The funds can then be used for both investment and running costs.

On 24 September 2020, Investitionsbank Berlin has now published the list of accredited VC companies, business angels and family offices:
